Touring the towns and sightseeing by Motor Scooter in Kotor Bay - Tivat to Perast

We got a wonderful email from the owner of the Chandlery here in Porto Montenegro recommending all the spots to stop and see things as well as good restaurants to enjoy along the way.

The tour around the bay is approximately 45 kilometers so it is not very far using the scooter and we were able to stop and really enjoy each of the places around the bay.

Getting some fuel and we will be off on our adventure!  Great to see the scooter out of the crate!

First, we climbed a hill nearby to see an old village and were able to get this view of the Porto

As we left Tivat, we followed a lovely road by the water which has this stone wall around its edge most of the way.  We had ridden the folding bikes earlier and were looking forward to seeing more of the bay with the scooter today.

This is a good view of the many small villages we passed through between Tivat and Kotor.  The road is right on the water as the mountains are so steep it is really the only possiblity.  It makes for really fantastic views and we passed through each town.

The people swimming off the stone wall and its many small piers is a common sight.  There are also many small boats like the ones in the foreground along the wall's edges.

We stopped for a snack at this lovely hotel on the sea wall in Perast.  From here we look directly across the bay at the villages in the previous two photos.
